+ this is why i'm hot;; It's only human nature to base first impressions on a person's appearance. It's a fact that people are more likely to approach someone if they are attractive, because... well, we all like to be friends with beautiful people, don't we? We feel more comfortable and at ease, and honestly, more accepted when with someone pretty. Is it shallow? No need to be ashamed. It's only human nature, after all.
Eden's passive aggressive beauty is what people first notice about her; elegant yet natural, gorgeous yet humble, she has good first impressions in the bag. She always has a kind expression and a warm, inviting smile. Her walk is light and agile when she is in her comfort zone, but an air of insecurity and clumsiness is often portrayed when she does not feel at ease. She carries herself with a modest confidence in her deafeningly silent grace.
She stands at 5'6", a moderate height, her weight, in pounds, just north of a hundred. Her figure is thin, yet blessed with modest yet well-defined curves above and below her waist, giving her a subtle hourglass form. Her skin is a pale shade of peach with a tawny flourish, the result of many summers in the sun.
Long strands of soft golden thread flow out gracefully from her head to her chest, framing her heart-shaped face perfectly. Beneath slim brows are two misty blue eyes surrounded by full lashes. Gazing into the light, these pale blue optics take on an amazing shade of turquoise, lighting up her already glowing visage with a spectacular accent. Never deadpan or dreary, her eyes always shine with a good-humoured shine.
Her smile is also something that is kind and sweet, but behind such an expression may hide ulterior motives. Her lips are full and pink underneath a petite nose that bears no blemishes. It's rare to see Eden with any pimples or blotchy-ness, mostly because she is extremely hygienic, almost to the point of being obsessive. The girl cares a lot about her appearance, and her impressions on people in general.
This is also why she pays so much attention to what she wears, and what she should be wearing. She follows trends, but, of course, not blindly. She wouldn't wear something she hated just because it was in style, but the things that she wears are normally things that they are in style; choosing something that looks good on her is still her first priority, however.

+ full of surprises;; Eden does not often feel uncomfortable around other people. But when she does, she has certain unmissable, adorable tells. The way she smiles that innocent, but awkward smile when she's embarrassed, the way she twirls her long, blonde hair around her finger to make you look at her. Or even how she won’t look you in the eye if she feels shy. Innocent and naive, it's easy to make her blush, and even easier to make her smile.
To be deemed a Mary Sue is to be flawless in every which way, to have every beautiful quality humans have to offer, and to be loved and worshiped by all. Most people would claim to dislike a Sue for her perfection, but deep down, everyone would like to be perfect to some degree. Deep down, there is an admiration for Mary Sues, who can seemingly do anything and everything while still being their cute and lovable selves. Eden Soraias is one of these heavenly beings.
Yeah, right. Got you there, didn't I? As much as she hates to admit it, Eden is just as screwed up as the rest of us. She puts on a good face, grins and bears a lot of things, but she isn't immune to emotional baggage. She has her fair share of it, being an illegitimate daughter without a mother.
She is the kind of person that will openly compliment somebody without being prompted; she is an extremely appreciative person. This is one of the things that makes her so popular not only with any particular group, but with people in general. She has a tendency towards happiness if she doesn't have a reason to be unhappy, and she dislikes it when people have an overly pessimistic view on things that there is really nothing wrong with. Unlike some people, who use sarcasm as a tool to be insulting or to offend others, she tends to use it for humour; of course, if she doesn't like you, she'll also use it to be mean.
Of course, it's not like the girl's a saint. If there's one thing that separates her from all the other well-intentioned, good-looking, athletic, sugary sweet chicks out there, it's her honesty. If she doesn't like you, or if she thinks that something negative needs to be said, she'll say it. She's not going to pretend that everything is peachy friggin keen if there's something bothering her. She tells it like it is; if something is amazing, she'll say so. If something sucks ass, you'll be hearing from her about it.
Most would not openly declare Eden a flirt, but in truth, she can be a charmer. She seems always happy and unbothered, and her laughter is like a medicine for some. Always the one to compliment, her genuine flattery is the thing that wins people over, if not her adorable modesty and innocence, and of course, her appearance. Although she likes to think she has enough self-respect to protect herself, she is too naive to tell between somebody generally interested in her, and somebody just looking to get a piece of her, and is easily one over by charm and sweet-talk.
Eden rarely gets angry; she's more the type to start pouting for a while, and then focus all of her unhappiness into doing something productive, like dance or gymnastics. When she does get angry, though, she mostly does the same things, except without the pouting. She's not normally one for immediate confrontation, unless she feels she has been really insulted.

+ epic worthy;; Sixteen-year-olds Ida Marsh and Danny Soraias were the most popular couple in the school, and homecoming king and queen. Madly in love, they were convinced they were going to be together for the rest of their lives. Well, after the homecoming dance, the two starry-eyed lovebirds went NC-17 to celebrate themselves, and guess who popped out nine months later? Well, who else but Eden Hope Soraias?
Unfortunately, shortly after her birth, her mother started hem ridging, and although the baby was perfectly healthy, her mother could not be saved, and Danny Soraias watched his girlfriend, his baby's mother, the love of his life, die.
Being raised by such a young father and no mother was not an easy thing for Eden, in her illegitimate family of two, even with help from her grandparents. Of course, Ida's parents weren't too eager to help out, convinced that it was Daniel's, and in turn, Eden's, fault that their daughter had died. Since he had not yet gone to college or university, and couldn't possibly do so with a baby at home, Danny's career options were limited. He wasted no time in getting a job at Wal Mart, to pay the bills until he could get a better job.
Eden grew up with a will to make sure very few people knew that she didn't have much money. An affinity for thrift stores and an eye for sales racks made sure she looked like she had the same money as everyone else, even though she probably would have been living on the streets if her grandparents weren't paying for the condo that she and her father lived in.
Eden was the sort of person that everybody wanted to sit next to in class, and everybody picked first for gym. She was pretty, extremely athletic, and the sweetest person in the world. People just tended to like her. Except, of course, for teachers. It wasn't like she was stupid or anything, and it wasn't like she didn't try hard. She just didn't understand things that people thought she should understand. She still has yet to fail a class, but she won't be getting away on academic scholarship any time soon.
In fifth grade, she realized her passion and talent for dance and gymnastics during a gym class towards the end of the year, and wasted no time in begging her father for lessons over the summer. At that point, the only available class of the sort was a cheerleading camp, and Eden was happy to go anywhere she could do a back handspring whenever she wanted to, so she went. An awesome tryout the next fall got her an immediate spot on the cheerleading squad, and in grade seven, she was voted captain, and maintained her position all through high school.
Despite unimpressive grades, she managed to land a cheerleading scholarship to New York University, and with the help of some very generous friends, she was able to get together enough money to make up for the expenses not paid by the University. Having gone back to school, himself, when Eden was in High School, Danny has had the time to complete an internship as a stockbroker now that his daughter is living away from home, and is hoping to obtain a full-time job with a full-time salary.
She has always, her entire life, maintained the sweet and innocent "girl next door" sort of persona. The stereotypical bubbly, blonde cheerleader who's never upset, she has worked hard to uphold her reputation for being what someone might call visibly flawless, with nothing truly wrong with her. But it's a lot easier to fake a smile and do a dance in high school, when people are only watching her because of a pretty face and a short skirt.
